When a child is small, it cries and through tears it gets heard and loved; when it grows up, it shouts and through anger it gets heard and loathed!
Lately, I have been feeling very angry with people – with strangers on the road, administrative staff in bureaucratic offices, lax servers at restaurants, and many others; and not only so but at my home with family as well. I am not too sure on what has happened in the past 2-3 months. Perhaps it is the stress and tension that built up when dad was critically ill and hospitalized for almost 3 weeks, or perhaps it is all the negative news – corruption, rape, economic downturn, gundaraj, political debauchery, that is being constantly broadcast by the media 24×7.
Yesterday at night, while reading “Capitalism: A Ghost Story” by Arundhati Roy I started feeling lost. Well not truly lost per se but lost in my understanding of what’s happening to people around us. Why have we become so greedy, so materialistic? Why is everyone arguing with everyone else? Countries are fighting with each other, within themselves. Power-crazed politicians are hoarding more and more money. Corporate are stripping the world of its resources and endangering the environment. Over the past one and a half years of ThetaHealing I have pondered quite a bit over the manifestations of a performed healing. Many times I have seen the results within a couple of minutes with the pain gone completely and many times I have not seen it work at all. A number of reasons can be attributed to the latter. However, one of the most powerful factors I believe is the overlap between different people’s paradigms and how they interact with each other.
In a previous post “Temporal Displacement between Thoughts & Manifestations” I have mentioned that our subconscious mind helps shape our reality around us. Thus during any healing between two people, it is not just the practitioner’s but to a large extent the client’s faith in the healing too that is important, and that (s)he deserves to be healed.
Taking it on a grander scale, what if one wants something manifest in his or her life, something which will involve a number of people? Will the manifestation involve all of their paradigms and will the Universe have to fit them all together in the larger scheme of things for it to work for the person?
